I hold a Bsc.degree in chemistry(1986)an Msc in Pharmacognosy (2011) and currently pursuing a PhD in Pharmacognosy with special interest on utilization of evaporites in traditional medicine in Northern Nigeria.I joined RMRDC Abuja Nigeria a parastatal under the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology,Abuja Nigeria in 1991. After a rewarding career as a water Chemist with the Now Kaduna State Water corporation.In working with RMRDC, I was the first kaduna state Coordinator for RMRDC,the First North west Zonal coordinator and then coming to the headquarters I served as Deputy Director Special Duties,Deputy Director Planning ,Director Cluster management and now Director planning and policy Development Department.Where I have been overseeing the activities of the council in policy Analysis,M & Eof projects and also overseeing the Councils international linkages on both bilateral and multi lateral activities.I have served as a project Manager for a world bank multi stakeholders funded project on sustainable sourcing of Tropical fruits for the fruit juices,concentrate and Allied products in Nigeria.In the course of my duties I have traveled to over twenty countries.I have also been the council s delegate to Nigerian Economic Summit,Trade and investment Framework between Nigeria and the USA,delegate to 2016 WSF to mention a few.Currently I have been the schedule officer of Waitro and has been serving as the regional focal point for sub Saharan Africa.In addition,I am also the president of my local chapter of OWSD(Organisation for Women in Science for Developing Countries)
