Ajeng Arum Sari, born in Surabaya, East Java on June 13, 1983. She is a senior researcher in Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) with research field about environmental technology and bioremediation. She has 30 international and national publications, 8 patents, and awardee for several research grants and competitions, such as Indonesia Toray Science Foundation Research Grant (2015 and 2017), Nagao Natural Environment Foundation Research Grant (2019), the most outstanding researcher in Research Center for Chemistry – LIPI (2016 and 2017). Currently, she becomes head of the Research Unit for Clean Technology – LIPI. She has been an Indonesian delegation for Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (2017 and 2018) and the Conference of the Parties for Basel, Rotterdam, and Stockholm Conventions (2019).
