Jorge Sánchez Navas is currently coordinator of the Chair of Science and Society of the Rafael del Pino Foundation, wich is led by the president of IUPAC (International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry), Javier García.

Jorge is in charge of the organization and projection of this platform for the dissemination of science. He works with the team of experts headed by Javier García in the communication of the report Ten emerging technologies for development and competitiveness in Spain.

Jorge Sánchez Navas, author of “Be Social. 30 young social entrepreneurs who move the world ” (Lid Editorial, 2017), is a journalist, artistic curator and consultant with extensive experience in media in Mexico (21st Century, Reform) and Spain (Information). CEO in the Double Helice and Dropsense companies, professor at the Permanent University of the University of Alicante and associate consultant at ICP consulting. He has a PhD in communication from the University of Alicante, a degree in Geography and History (Art History specialty) from the University of Granada and a Master in Journalism in El País / Autonomous University of Madrid. His interest in the story of science, its ethical implications and its connections with the artistic and cultural field, has been embodied in the art exhibition The luminous labyrinth and in some of his books, like Brilliant wild animals. He also directs the theater project Diario Vivo México.
