My Name is Jehan, I am Jordanian and I live in Budapest. I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree in teacher education, at ELTE. My studies focus on the importance of empowerment teachers. While my master's degree in intercultural education and psychology focused on the importance of cultural awareness sensitivity, and flexibility as a prerequisite of counseling and dealing with people from different backgrounds or nationalities. Volunteering is my passion, I was a volunteer in Jordan, Romania and the US. Non-formal education and support disadvantaged children are my priorities in volunteering work. I believe that education is the weapon to stand against poverty and ignorance.
