I was always interested in science, especially in mathematics and biology, which was the reason that I applied to the Molecular Bionics BSc at Pázmány Péter Catholic University.  After my bachelor’s degree, I chose the PPCU’s Medical Biotechnology MSc. In the university I was a member of two event organizer groups and these activities raised my attention to communication. I started another MSc program in science communication at Eötvös Loránd University, which can combine my interests in medicine and communication. In 2015, I have become a Ph.D. student at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Philosophy and History of Science Doctoral School, to learn more about the theoretical background of science communication. My research interests are scientific blogs and science journalism, as well as the connection between science and pseudoscience. Because I thought that theory and practice go hand-in-hand, I am working as a science communications associate with three cooperating research groups at the Semmelweis University.
