I am Tibor Molnár, a 2nd year PhD. student from Hungary, and I would like to kindly ask the Committee for the privilege of participating in the forthcoming World Science Forum in Budapest. When I got the chance the take part in previous Fora, I could have valuable conversations with valuable people, for instance István Bilik and Werner Arber Nobel-laureate. My PhD-topic is also connected to a previous Forum: in 2011 I could hear the presentation of Richard A. Matthies, then-dean, College of Chemistry, UC Berkeley, on Green Chemistry. We had a long and interesting conversation about how they implemented the principles of Green Chemistry, such as in redesigning the laboratory and so on.

Beyond my own core field of interest, WSF provides an excellent opportunity to broaden one's horizon, make connections and contribute to the common thinking on global challenges. These could help me in achieving my future goal of becoming an outstanding university professor.
