Attila joined British Council as Country Director in April 2019, where his main role is to promote UK-Hungary cultural relations and oversee education, science and innovation programmes. Previously, he worked on humanitarian and development programming for the International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, and before that he was engaged in policy and public affairs for several years. He holds an MA in Political Science from Central European University Budapest, and a PhD from the University of Vienna.
