Melinda Mathe is a doctoral candidate with the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden.  Her research focuses on hybrid learning environments and particularly on the use of digital immersive games and simulations in education. At Stockholm University, she has also worked on educational capacity development in the EU-Middle East context and contributed to UNESCO´s Education 2030 Agenda on the topic of School Management and Leadership. Previously she worked at UNESCO´s Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok, Thailand where she was focusing on teacher ICT capacity development. She has previously worked on the implementation of information traceability systems in Japan and Singapore. She has an MSc degree from Stockholm University in International and Comparative Education and studied Information Technology for Learning at the University of Gothenburg.
