Dr. Priscilla Kolibea Mante is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacology, KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana. She holds a B.Pharm (Hons) and a Ph.D. (Pharmacology). 

 Dr. Mante investigates isolated medicinal compounds from the Ghanaian flora for activity against drug-resistant epilepsy types. Her current efforts are geared towards establishing definitive biological markers in human body fluids that guide diagnosis and a pharmacological management of drug-resistant epilepsy in Ghanaian patients. She also has interest in health-related quality of life research. She is a recipient of various research grants including the 2019 OWSD Early Career Fellowship and 2018 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Sub-Saharan Fellowship. In 2019, She has received the International Rising Talent Award under the L’Oréal-UNESCO FWIS Programme and named a 2019 Quartz Africa Innovator. Dr. Mante has a considerable number of peer-reviewed papers to her credit and serves as a reviewer for various journals on neuroscience. She is a fellow of the Africa Science Leadership Programme and a University of Michigan African Presidential Scholar. She is a registered Pharmacist and current Chair of the Ghana Young Academy. She is a member of several professional bodies including founding member of the Ghana Neuroscience Society and member of the International Society of Neurochemistry. She is committed to mentoring the next generation of scientists and serves as a mentor on the National Girls-In-ICT Programme.
