Fiaz ur Rehman is a Professional Software Engineer by profession and he is contributing to the field of Science and Technology by conducting several workshops for the Commissions member states.  Fiaz is part  Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS) for the past 6 years that have a network of 27 member countries and 22 R&D based centers of excellence. 

He has a vast experience in collaboration with the international organization to enhance the capacity building in the developing world. He has also worked on digital health platform where thousands of patients have benefited. He has a keen eye for technical development, program execution and project management.

Mr. Fiaz has also been contributing towards daily newspapers by writing the articles regarding the role of science and technology and its impact on the societies, environment and human well-being. He has a keen interest in ways to adopt new emerging technological developments in the developing world.

He likes to spend time in community uplift programmes and mentoring new start-ups.
