My name is Veronika Hornyák, I am currently enrolled in my second master program at National University of Public Service, studying international security and defence policy. My previous studies were an international administration BA program, and a master program in English titled International Public Service Relations, both in National University of Public Service, and I did a postgraduate diploma in the University of Győr, where I studied Sports diplomacy. During my university years I tried to live with all the possibilities given to my lucky generation, such as the Erasmus+ program with which I was able to spend in total more than 1,5 years in Barcelona as the intern of the Consulate General of Hungary.

Terminating my first master I got Campus Mundi scholarship to spend 4 month in New York city, working as the trainee of the Permanent Mission of Hungary to the United Nations. This experiences expanded my original strong personal and professional interest regarding education, human rights to international security issues, especially children end education rights in armed conflict. Currently I was awarded with New Generation Excellence Program, research scholarship (ÚNKP), where my topic of investigation is Bilateral relations between Hungary and Colombia in the light of security. Moreover, I am actively searching for research and especially PHD opportunities, which would be my next step on my professional and scientific path. Alongside my university carrier, I worked in several different positions to gain different kind of experiences on the labour market, which led to my current position, as international director of the newly opened sports academy of FC Barcelona in Hungary.
