Francine develops expert advice to government and the public on important issues facing New Zealand. Francine also helps with the Society’s secretariat support and advice for the International Science Council’s Committee of Freedom and Responsibility in Science.

 

Francine’s background is in chemistry, biochemistry and microbiology. She has actively worked with a variety of groups across New Zealand with interests in environmental issues. Her previous work experience includes roles in teaching, science outreach, research and commercial testing laboratories.
