Dr. Daniela Giannetto graduated in Biology at Catania University (Italy). She granted a PhD in Biology and Ecology at Perugia University (Italy) and a PostDoc at the Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (Turkey).

Currently Dr. Giannetto is enrolled as Associate Professor at the Department of Biology (Faculty of Sciences) in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (Turkey) . Dr. Giannetto’s research mainly deals with hydrobiology and the study of freshwater fish biology and ecology. She has authored several publications on peer review journals and she is member of editorial boards and acts actively as referee for several international journals and committees.
