I am a researcher with an interest in science and diplomacy. I am rounding up my PhD in environmental sciences with specialisation in the sustainability of marine and coastal resources at the Brandenburg University of Technology, BTU, Germany and presently on a developmental mission with the GIZ on knowledge dissemination as a diaspora expert in Nigeria. I have a wide interdisciplinary background and would be highly interested to contribute to the World science Forum coming up in November.

April- July 2019 - Visiting Scholar/Researcher. School for Resource and Environmental Studies (SRES), Dalhousie University, Canada.

August till date - Visiting lecturer in the University of Lagos, Nigeria as a diaspora expert with GIZ/CIM developmental project.

My research and academic interest: Sustainability of environmental resources; Food security (fisheries) and certifications; Climate change impact on marine resources; Marine renewable energy; Data mgt & modelling; Collaborative/participatory research; Mixed methods research; Community-based and Indigenous studies.
