Olga Dobrovidova is a science and environment journalist based in Moscow, Russia. She has worked for the country’s two major newswire services, RIA Novosti and TASS, and is currently the native advertising editor-in-chief at N+1, Russia’s most cited science news website. Olga is a Knight Science Journalism fellow (2014-15) and a member of the McKinsey&Co Next Generation Women Leaders class of 2014. Her work has appeared in Chrdk.ru, GEO, Russia Beyond, Nature, STAT and other publications. Olga teaches science journalism and science communications at ITMO University in Saint Petersburg and the University of Tyumen School of Advanced Studies. She is the vice president for science journalism at AKSON, the Russian science communicators association, and the vice president of the European Federation for Science Journalism (EFSJ). Her interests include climate change and sustainable development, science policy and ethics, and investigative reporting.
