Dr. Reda Cimmperman is a Scientific Secretary and Head of Secretariat at the Research Council of Lithuania (RCL). She is responsible for communication between the RCL and Government institution, scientific and educational institutions, international academic or other institutions. She has completed her Bachelor studies in Biochemistry and achieved her Master’s Degree in Microbiology at Vilnius University. She has obtained her PhD in Biomedical science in 2010. She had scholarship from German Federal Environmental Foundation for 3 years in Germany during her PhD studies. 2006-2017 she was a research fellow at the Nature Research Centre. 2009-2015 she was a Chief Officer of the Science Policy and Assessment Unit at the RCL. She is a member of “BiodivERsA”, a member of advisory board in project “Responsible Research and Innovation Networking Globally” (H2020, RRING), member of the Academic Board of Kaunas Forest and Environmental Engineering College, a member of the Lithuanian Society of Plant Physiologists. She has been working for the various projects: 7th FP projects “Servicizing Policy for Resource Efficient Economy” and project “TARGETED R&D POLICY”, 2011-2012 EU SF the International Research Database “Lituanistika”, etc.
