I’m the senior health correspondent at Vox.com, reporting on medicine, science, and public health across platforms and media. Before Vox, I spent a year as a Knight Science Journalism fellow at MIT. Before that, I worked as a staff and freelance reporter in Toronto and London. I've been recognized with numerous journalism awards, including the 2016 Balles Prize in Critical Thinking, the 2017 American Society of Nutrition Journalism Award, and several Canadian National Magazine Awards. Outside of reporting, I regularly speak about health matters at universities and conferences around the world. I hold a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science. A Canadian, I live with my husband in Vienna, Austria.
