Sarah is a Senior Official Development Assistance (ODA) Policy Manager in the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) International Development Team. Sarah is currently responsible for developing policy for UKRI in a number of key areas including equitable partnership, safeguarding, ODA compliance and ODA transparency. She is also leading on activities to promote international collaboration between research funders. Before joining the International Development Team, Sarah worked at the UK Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) for 5 years where she was involved in strategy development and research programme management. Prior to joining BBSRC, Sarah was an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Centre – Houston.
