Mr. Kobayashi is the Director of the Department of International Affairs of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). Prior to the current position, he hold positions as the Director of the Singpore Office and the Director of the Office of International Strategy of JST. Before joining JST, he worked for Nikon Corporation at the international trade department. Received his degree in economics from Keio University.
