I am a PhD of Building Materials and Construction Science (2014) at the Technical University of Madrid in Spain and a MSc of Environmental and Chemical Engineering (2004) at the West-Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, Poland.

Since 2004, in my professional activity, I have balanced both academic and industrial or R&D European sector perspectives (3 public universities, 2 multinationals, 1 public research institute, 2 state agencies, 1 private non-profit transfer technology centre), gaining numerous professional intra and inter-dimensional insights. Along these years on different occasion, I was also a successful MSCA-IF-2016 and MSCA-EST-2004 grants recipient.

Since January 2018, I have been a Subject matter expert of European Commission on 3 interdisciplinary key areas: civil engineering, maritime/hydraulic engineering, geotechnics, waste treatment, as well as chemical engineering, technical chemistry and materials engineering.

Since December 2018, I have also become a member of the Marie Curie Association Alumni (MCAA) Policy Working Group, where I have an opportunity to expand my technical background on material science and engineering, technology of building construction and sustainable management of natural and artificial resources towards new intersectional policy areas.

Since November 2018, I am a member of the EuroScience community.

In 2017, I was bestowed with the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) programme honoured representative mention.
