Domokos Szasz is a Professor Emeritus at the Mathematical Institute of Budapest U. of Technology. Founder of the Budapest schools of math. stat. physics and of (hyperbolic) dynamical systems. He was Vice-President of the Hung. Acad. Sci. (and of its Math. Institute from 1993 for three years). Also a member of Academia Europaea.
