Thandeka Sibiya was born in 1980 January 18, in the Republic of South Africa.

She is currently enrolled with Eotvos Lorand University in Hungary Budapest through the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship.

She is a qualified teacher, presently studying towards a PhD qualification in Education Sciences.
