Between 2004 to 2010 I worked in the Nuclear Research Institute in Řež near Prague. After my retirement I joined the Department of Nuclear Chemistry of the Czech Techical University. I published more than 100 papers and was a coauthor of 2 books at CRC Press from radiochemistry and radiation measurement. I am a member of the International Public Body of Hungarian Academy of Science and a board member of the Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry. The past time was devoted to the study of transport of radionuclides in the system of granular solids and groundwater. The main goal of my work was to find out simple methods of mathematical modeling, which make possible to determine each of significant transport parameters of radionuclides in order to predict their behavior in sudied system. The data obtained may well serve in the depiction of the far field environment of the radioactive waste depository.
