Dr. Matthew Murtha is a scientist, comedian, and public speaker. He obtained his PhD in molecular biology from The Ohio State University in the vast emptiness of the American MidWest. As a postdoc in New York he developed a novel way to annotate genomic regulatory elements. His work then took him to the coasts of Catalonia for a postdoc in cancer epigenetics in Barcelona, Spain. He now travels the world bringing the latest science news to the masses using comedy and conversation.
