ASIF MIR, Ph.D.

Served Pakistan COuncil for S&T for 7 years, involved in S&T Policy making, planning, implementation and in carrying out policy studies. Then joined Department of Bioinformatics, COMSATS Islamabad (4 years) and IIU Islamabad (7 years) as Assistant Professor, promoted to Tenured Associate Professor and Chairman of Department since 2017.

Recipient of: HEC Best Research Paper Award 2009, Postdoctoral Fellowship 2012 and Research Productivity Award 2012

More than 80 Research Papers having Total IF: 200 with Citation: 800+. These papers have been published in prestigious journals like: Molecular Psychiatry (IF 13.190), Molecular Neurobiology, (IF 6.190), Diagnostic Pathology (IF 2.087) BMC Medical Genetics (IF 2.198), The American Journal of Human Genetics (IF 12.5), Clinical Genetics (IF 3.326), Drug Design, Development and Therapy (IF 2.822), Human Genetics, (IF 4.367), Int.
