Shahid Ajmal Malik is among the very few Broadcast Journalists in Pakistan who is covering Science and technology developments in the country and abroad. Mr. Malik is the only science journalist in Pakistan who won the grant for attending the world science forum in Jordan. As a journalist Shahid has visited different countries for the coverage of international events including the 70th UNGA Meeting. Mr. Shahid Ajmal Malik also Went to see the developments in CERN and produced a detailed report on its impacts on Pakistan because among the few he has an interest in the science journalism.

Linking science with the peace and development Mr. Malik covers the science and technology issues and developments for Pakistan Television which is the only state Television channel with the largest viewership in country. In Pakistan where the TV channels have no time to highlight the social issues, Shahid Ajmal Malik has produced several reports for Pakistan television news on climate, natural disasters and the economic situation. Shahid has also produced travel documentaries in Europe, America, Asia, Central Asia and Middle East.
