She has involved improving safety and environmental management systems for companies and organization over 20 years. Then, she went to graduate school and completed Social Informatics Master's degree (2008) and Environment Systems Ph.D. (2011) at the University of Tokyo. And that, she worked at the Ministry of the Environment, in charging of competitive funding of environmental research (around 44 million EUR in a year) for promoting scientific knowledge and technology development to build a sustainable society (2012-2015). Next, she moved at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology and researched STI trends toward 2030 for formulating policy plans (2016-2019). From this April, she is working at the Cabinet Office and supporting policy recommendations for G7 from the view of academia.
Hence, she has highly interests in Policy Design introducing SDGs for an inclusive society. Additionally, she attended the EU for Talanoa Conference 2018 , the 2019 Circular Economy Stakeholder Conference organized by European Commission in Brussels and the Sustainable Investment Forum Europe 2019 hosted by Climate Action in partnership with UNEP Finance Initiative in Paris, seeking insights of solution for creating sustainable environment.
