Ibolya Kristóf works at the Research Institute for Linguistics, Hungary as junior research fellow at the Department of Lexicology and Lexicography. She is member of the team working on the ongoing project of the Comprehensive Dictionary of Hungarian.

Ibolya was studied Hungarian literature and linguistics, and library and information science at Eötvös Loránd University. She had been working at Szent István University, and had held lectures on library and information science both at the university, and at the Hungarian Library Institute of National Széchényi Library. She was awarded with the prize ’Young Librarian of the Year’ in 2010 by the Association of Hungarian Librarians, and the Alliance of Libraries and Information Institutes.
