Education1983 - graduated from Charles University of Prague, Faculty of the Natural Sciences (in applied geophysics), 1986 - RNDr degree (Geologia specialis, hydrogeologia, geophysica usui accomodata), Charles University of Prague, 1992 - PhD degree (Candidate of geological sciences), Charles University of Prague, 2003 - associate professor (doc.) for the field of geotechnical and underground engineering, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava,2010 – professor of geotechnical and underground engineering
