Over the years, I have served the University, faculty and department in some capacities as a member of many committees, and also in the execution of certain special duties that require urgency.

AREA OF SPECIALIZATION

My expertise is in Plant Taxonomy / Systematics with special interest in identification, naming and classification of useful (medicinal) plants. I have contributed to crude drug research in collaboration with colleagues at the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lagos. I use both macro and micro features of plants to achieve these goals. I am very well conversant with the Nigerian vegetation and also understand the patterns of indigenous people interaction with plants.
