Dr. Suchit Ashish John is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad, India. Earned a D.Phil. in Sciences from the University of Allahabad. Engaged in teaching and Research (Biological Sciences) for last 18+ years. Established a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive research in the area of mitigation of Plant stress (biotic & abiotic) through PGPRs, biopesticides, organic agriculture and development of environment friendly 'stress busters' for plants. Successfully guided over 85 PG and Ph.D. thesis. Authored and Co-authored over 45 peer reveiwed research papers apart from book chapter, bulletins and press reports. Resource person for workshops, winter and summer schools. Invited for presentations at different science and research programs at China, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Netherlands and India. Participated as Chairperson and co chairperson at a number of technical sessions of seminars, symposia and workshops. Active life member of renowned National International Societies.
