My name's Nizar Haddad, I am the Director General of the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC)- Jordan, and a member of its board.I was the founder & director of the Bee Research Department at the center, where I introduced relevant professional experiences. I was a senior expert researcher and a leading scientist of national & international projects in beekeeping, climate change, food security, and other issues related to agriculture, water, and environment.   Have gained 4 national awards and 6 international awards. Won the Ideal Government Employees’ Award (2010), and Zarqa University Award for Best Book on Climate Change (2015). In 2007, I was the first Arab citizen to receive the International Honey Bee Health Research Award, and the Apimondia Bronze Medal for Best Beekeeping Website.   I spoke in about 100 international forums addressing various issues related to the agricultural sector. Author of 17 books and more than 70 scientific publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and articles published in non-reviewed journals.

My Qualifications are: - Ph.D., M.Sc. & B.Sc. degrees in Agriculture. - M.Sc. degree in Management and Strategic Studies. - Higher Diploma in National Resources Management - Higher Diploma of Methods of Teaching. - Certified Mentor- King Abdulla II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency. - Certified Assessor- European Foundation for Quality Management “EFQM”.
