After obtaining a masters in Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay-India, his passion for science brought him to Munich. Tilak joined the lab of Prof. Wolfgang Baumeister at the Max Planck institute of Biochemistry-Munich, Germany as a PhD candidate. Currently, he is studying essential proteins that are crucial for the survival of the grean plants and thus for our green environment.
