Katalin Fodor has been working on the World Science Forum series since 2011 as International Coordinator and later as Head of Secretariat. Apart from this major responsibility she has been involved in projects related to science-based policy advice. She was project manager of the four-year EU FP7 collaborative project PACITA, which aimed at increasing the capacity for knowledge-based policy-making on issues involving STI through cross-European projects. At the International Relations Department she’s responsible among others for UN, UNESCO, ISC, AAAS, TWAS and IAP relations. Her responsibilities include monitoring the programmes of organisations involved with evidence based policy making and advising on the Academy’s engagement in their programmes.
