Dr. NseAbasi Etim holds PhD degree in Animal Physiology from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Nigeria, with GPA of 5.00. She lectures Animal Science in Akwa Ibom State University. Dr. Etim belongs to many professional bodies, including, Nigerian Institute of Animal Science, British Society of Animal Science, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, New York Academy of Sciences, etc. She has conducted several ground-breaking researches which have won several awards in the UK, Sri Lanka, India and Ghana. Dr. Etim has

published over 40 articles in reputable Journals and referred conference proceedings. She is not just a Scientist by her research and discoveries, she has also inspired several students in different countries of the world to love and choose STEM by volunteering as a mentor in the 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures, STEM U & Junior Academy Mentoring Programs presented by Global STEM Alliance of NYAS and in Commonwealth Mentorship Programme. She has served as a two time judge during the Annual Meetings of the AAAS. She also volunteered as a Judge for the Technovation Challenge, 2019. Dr. Etim was also a member of GWIS National Fellowship Competition Committee. Her great passion and contributions to science led to her selection as Future Leader, 2017 at STS Forum in Japan. She is the Ambassador of the New York Academy of Sciences. Dr. Etim was selected to participate in the 74th UN General Assembly.
