Prof. Ailikun is the Assistant Executive Director of Secretariat of the Alliance of International Science Organziations (ANSO). She got her Ph.D in Department of Geoscience of Tsukuba University of Japan, works on Asian monsoon climatology, global change and sustainability research in Asian region. She served for IPO of Monsoon Asia Integrated Regional Study (MAIRS) from 2006 to 2015 in the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) by dedicated herself in international cooperation in global change studies. From 2016 to 2018, she worked in the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research (ITP), CAS as the director of TPE (Third Pole Environment) IPO. Since the launching the ANSO in Nov 2018, she moved to ANSO Secretaria. Prof. Ailikun is fluent in English and Japanese, interested in understanding the relationship between science and humanity. and crosscutting syudies between natural and social sciences.
