Dr Eliska Tomalova

Eliška Tomalová is Assistant Professor at the Institute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague. In her research and teaching activities, she focuses on soft power instruments, cultural diplomacy and branding in international relations and on Czech-French relations. She has been recently involved in research projects on nation branding strategies with the Czech ministry of Foreign Affairs and on the international organizations agenda with the Czech Governement Office. In the H2020 project S4D4C, she is leading the water case study, researching best practices in science diplomacy and water management. Eliška Tomalová is also the Head of the European Studies Department at the Insitute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in Prague and Programme Director of the EPS (European Politics and Society) Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree.
