Dr. Oh has a PhD in space science (low-to-mid latitude ionosphere) and is CEO of Space Environment Laboratory, Incorporated. (SELab, Inc., hereafter SELab). He founded SELab with 2 other co-founders at venture incubating center, SNU (Seoul National University) in 2002. He had been worked as a manager of Planning and Coordination Team in SELab during 2002-2006, and he serves as CEO since 2006. His major accomplishments as a project manager are the delivery of challenging or pilot projects such as RQMOD(Real-time Quality control of the Meteorological Observational Data, KMA), Korean AMDAR(Aircraft Meteorological DAta Relay, KMA), Monthly High Frequency Radio Prediction(RRA), etc. Since 2007, he actively involves with the initiative research for planning and coordination of newly implemented operation in agencies or institute, for instance, “Research on designing framework of mid-to-low latitude upper atmosphere observation system for space weather data center. (KASI)”, and “A planning research for establishing basic plan for space weather service by KMA. (KMA)”, and he has published in the area of the research on space weather phenomena with his specific major of  ionospheric science.  After being a CEO, his interests in meteorological application are focused on the emerging technologies that are QA/QC systems, space weather applications and weather surveillance radar technology developments.
