Prof. Kah is VP for Academic Affairs/Provost & Professor of IT & Computing, American University of Nigeria; was Vice Rector, Technology & Innovation & Founding Dean, School of IT & Engineering, ADA University, Azerbaijan; served as 3rd Vice Chancellor (President/Rector), The University of The Gambia, Principal of the only Teachers College and 1st Gambian to lead The University. He cemented his career at Howard, George Washington and Rutgers Universities, USA and served at American University of Sharjah, UAE as Department Chairman; regular contributor of the Africa Module-Advanced Leadership Program at Judge Business School (JBS), University of Cambridge; appointed an honorary Fellow in 2016-2017 of JBS and the Digital Innovation Center at Cambridge; served as committee member of the 2018 EuroScience Forum. He serves as a member of the Malabo Montpellier Panel.

He completed his BS, MSc. and Ph.D. at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA; holds an MSc in Finance from George Washington University; awarded a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by the University of the Gambia in 2016; completed Postgraduate Diploma (DipSI)-Strategy & Innovation from University of Oxford.

He completed executive education programs: University of Cambridge’s JBS: Advanced Leadership Program; Harvard University’s Kennedy School: Transforming Leadership For 21st Century Africa; AGA KHAN University: Voice of Leadership; Inspiration, Influence & Impact. He is an Internationally Certified Director from INSEAD.
