Prof. Hasan Salah Dweik

Professor of polymer Chemistry and Technology &

 Executive Vice President at Al-Quds University. He received his master's degree and Ph.D. from Aston University in United Kingdom in in 1979and  1983. He held several  high administrative positions at  Al-Quds  university,

he served as Dean of Faculty of Science & Technology, Head of Department of Chemistry and Chemical technology and Head of the Department of Food Technology. he was heavily involved in the developemt of international cooperation with many universities in europe ,USA, and other countries 

He has participated in more than 120 international conference & meetings,  A  former member of  the international council of science (ICSU )based in Paris. professor dweik published more than 40 scientific articles in peer reviewed Journals  in polymer stabilization  and on antifatigue agents in rubbers ,prof dweik  won many research fellows one of them is the fulbright  fellow in the USA ,where he spent the year 1991/1992 as a visiting scholar at Akron university in ohio and was able to develop a new theory on adhesion ,which has a very important applications in industry . professor dweik was also  invited as a visiting scientist at Bordeaux university in france for three consecutive years where he was invoved in the development of the plastic battery a new trend in conductive polymers ,also he lectured and supervised students in italy at the university of Lasepianza  on international cooperation and environmental issues ,professor dweik has a special interest in science education and was able to establish the first interactive science museum and the first interactive mathematics museum in palestine on the university campus .
