I am an Associate Professor at Department of Planning @ Aalborg University. I am head of the Study Board for Techno-Anthropology and Sustainable Design, and member of the research group for Techno-Anthropology and Participation (TAPAR). I am board member of two research centres - Centre for Applied Ethics and Research Centre for Bio Science and Techno-Anthropology (BIOANT) – and of the Think Tank “Techno-Ethics”.

My research regards four aspects of Responsible Research and Technological Innovation:

• Ethical Technology Assessment
• Robust Technology implementation through Action Research
• Teaching Responsibility in STEM
• Inter- and Transdisciplinary Research-based Advice on cultural and societal technological risks

I teach several of these topics on the Bachelor and Master’s programmes in Techno-Anthropology – study-programmes I co-founded 10 years ago.
